Hello!

Post A Patch is a community project in which people from around the globe knit/crochet patches and send them to us. We then make these patches into beautiful blankets and donate them to charity.

Blankets not only keep us nice & cosy, they make us feel safe & loved. No matter who you are, where you are, or what your circumstances, these are two of the most important things to feel, we think. So we aim to gift these colourful handmade blankets to people in need, to give them a little hope and a big woolly hug.

We will be donating some of our blankets to The Lighthouse Foundation, a charity that strives to end youth homelessness. These blankets will wing their way to their Mums and Bubs home, a place where young homeless girls and their babies can find safety and care.

St Kilda Mums will also receive blanket donations from us. They are a charity that works closely with local social service agencies to find and collect baby items to pass onto and help families in need across Victoria.
If you would like to get involved, get those knitting needles out, get your crochet hooks at the ready and start crafting up a storm! And even if you've never touched a ball of yarn in your life, there's no excuse. Grab your Granny, your Great Aunt Edna or follow these simple instructions on how to knit/crochet a patch. You'll be a pro in no time!

Send your finished patches here:

Lastly, we're always on the look-out for more Australian charities that would also benefit from donations of our blankets. From children's charities to care homes, from homeless charities to new homes. If you know of any please get in touch.

Thank you!
