To knit a patch:
Cast on 2 stitches.
Knit 2, increase 1 (3 stitches on needle)
Knit 3, increase 1 (4 stitches on needle)
Knit 4, increase 1 (5 stitches on needle)
Repeat until your knitting measures approx. 10cm.
Knit 1 row.
Knit row until 2 stitches left, knit these stitches together.
Repeat until finished.
Ta-da! One pretty patch!
To crochet a patch:
Chain 6 stitches, slip stitch together to make a circle.
Double stitch 3 times inside the circle, chain 1, double stitch 3 times inside the circle, chain 1, ds x 3, ch1, ds x 3, ch 1, slip stitch together.
Repeat for the next round, going inbetween each space of the previous round.
Repeat until patch measures around 10cm x 10cm.
